T for TAXI~ Cotton Bud Paint

aSsaLamUaLaikum~

T for TAXI. Last week i came to find cotton bud which cost only Rm 1 for pack of three. I bought it in case i need to use it in my class. And Yes, I did. 

It just came across me to use it in the substitute of a paint brush. It is fun and also challenging. 

Why did i said that? 

It is because the cotton bud is really thin and the children need to hold it tightly. It's quite challenging though. Unlike the paint brush which have a fatter body that can be easily grasp by the children. this cotton bud is really challenging. I choose this for them because I want them to control their fine motor skills.

Find The Letter T~

aSSaLaMuaLaikum~

In order to let the children memorize the letter T, I even made a worksheet for them where they need to identify and color the alphabet T ONLY. Alhamdulillah all of them manage to identify all the alphabet T and color only the alphabet T. I keep on reminding them to color only the alphabet T and let the others uncolored. You can try this activity with other letter and trust me, this kind of method really works on them.

The Triangle Shape~

aSSaLamuaLaikUm~

Since it's The Letter T's week. I came up to introduce them the triangle shape. I keep on stressing out the letter T in the Triangle. I even let them draw the shape on the whiteboard as you can see below. Some of them are able to draw it nicely and some of them just can get the motion right. I can see that they are trying and I am happy to see that.

The Letter T Collage~

aSSaLamUaLaikum~

since this week is The Alphabet T's week, I decide to do a giant letter T collage. 

First of all, I drew a big letter T on a piece of 'Mahjong Paper' as you can see below. Then I gave them the old newspaper for them to tear it into pieces. 

Once it's done, I let them glued the pieces onto the respective area.

They really enjoy the activity~
